Literature Resource Center

Literature Resource Center is a gale database that is included with T.E.L. This site is real useful for students looking for author biographies and literary critiques. I've used this database a lot, especially when high school or college students come in looking for literature reviews on a certain work.

The thing I like most about this site is the searching capability. For instance, you can limit an author search by nationality, ethnicity, genre, literary movement, time period, and theme. For example, someone could come into the library looking for information on journalists associated with yellow journalism. Using Literature Resource Center, they could get a list of authors associated with yellow journalism and their biographies, work overviews, and bibliographies attached.

Seven and a half habits........

Well I guess the easiest one of these for me is using technology to my advantage. If I can get something accomplished quicker and with better results, I'll go with the newest technology. Playing is also easy.

The hardest one for me is probably going to be habit number one. Yes, I set goals and I do meet them, but sometimes it seems that some goals have no end in sight. This is why it's always important for me to set mini-goals along the road to some gigantic goal.
